This role will require hybrid working, with 2 days per week on-site in Newcastle. All applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) to Security Check (SC) level as a minimum.

Your future duties and responsibilities

As a Senior Delivery Manager at CGI, you'll ensure the successful delivery of digital services and products by leading Agile Delivery Teams through all stages of the development lifecycle. You will play a critical role in fostering collaboration, maintaining momentum, and ensuring alignment with user needs and stakeholder expectations.

Key duties include:

1. Building and maintaining motivated teams, fostering a collaborative and iterative working environment
2. Running Agile ceremonies such as show and tell, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
3. Ensuring team members actively participate in user research, acting as observers and documenting outputs to align design and research
4. Tracking and reporting on delivery cadence, including burn-up and burn-down charts, team velocity, and progress against plans
5. Addressing blockers and challenges by liaising with upstream and downstream delivery teams
6. Facilitating communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding
7. Acting as a bridge between team members, empowering the team, and maintaining delivery momentum
8. Running and maintaining JIRA boards and Confluence spaces for the team

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

1. Skilled in applying and adapting Agile and lean tools and techniques to suit different contexts
2. Experienced in identifying and improving processes to maximise delivery outcomes
3. Ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, managing expectations and fostering understanding
4. Skilled in facilitating discussions and presenting progress to diverse audiences, including at Show and Tell events
5. Experience tracking and managing dependencies, risks, and issues to maintain delivery momentum
6. Competent in using data to inform planning and prioritisation
7. Proven ability to build and maintain motivated teams, empowering team members to achieve their best
8. Skilled in creating a supportive team environment and resolving team dynamics issues
9. Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile reporting tools
10. Ability to manage internal processes such as resource onboarding, timesheet verification, and collaboration with PMOs for accurate invoicing
