Your Role

As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will:

1. Design and implement cutting-edge infrastructure to enhance data discovery, quality, and scalability.
2. Develop tools and templates enabling seamless migration and adoption for data engineers, analysts, and BI users.
3. Optimise ETL pipelines for efficient and high-performance data processing.
4. Automate monitoring, testing, and alerting processes to ensure reliability.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute impactful data solutions.

Your Expertise

1. Essential:
1. Proven skills in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
2. Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines and writing automated tests.
3. Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala, with SQL expertise.
4. Background in cloud computing, particularly ETL and orchestration.

1. Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., Athena, Glue, S3).
2. Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or QuickSight.
3. Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
