JOB TITLE: Senior Data Engineer

LOCATION: London – one a month

SALARY: up to £75,000

WAY OF WORKING: Full Time | Hybrid/Remote

THE SENIOR DATA ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY:

1. Design, develop, and maintain a Kimball Data Warehouse.
2. Manage data ingestion and transformation using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, and SQL databases.
3. Develop and maintain data pipelines for automation, audit, and error handling.
4. Create datasets for use in Power BI.
5. Ensure data quality, security, and best practices at every stage of development.
6. Support data consumers across the organisation and promote the Data Team’s capabilities.

KEY SKILLS:

1. Expertise in Microsoft Azure technologies, including Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, and SQL.
2. Strong data analysis, modelling, and visualisation skills. Experience with Azure DevOps and Agile working.
3. The Ability to mentor junior team members. An adaptable and analytical approach with a focus on delivering positive outcomes.
