As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be a key member of the growing technology team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines that drive informed decision-making and support fintech-for-good initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Python, AWS, and Lambda.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
3. Optimise and troubleshoot existing data infrastructure to ensure performance and reliability.
4. Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
5. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance data engineering capabilities.

Skills, experience, and qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on designing and implementing data pipelines.
2. Strong proficiency in Python and experience with AWS services, particularly Lambda, S3, Glue, and Athena.
3. Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
4. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
6. Familiarity with financial data and industry regulations.
7. Experience with serverless architecture and infrastructure as code (IaC).
