Senior Data Architect - FTC

Senior Data Architect - FTC - Hybrid 2 days per week in the office.

My client, a global investment bank, is seeking a Senior Data Architect who will be responsible for creating a Data strategy across the front and back office of the bank.

The organization is currently in the midst of transitioning to cloud, with existing systems and services being migrated onto AWS. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Architect to play a key part in the organization's first move to cloud to meet the needs of the business and position themselves for further growth.

This Senior Data Architect will have 2 direct reports, as the business looks to grow and build out their Data Architecture team.

The ideal candidate must have:

• Substantial experience as a Senior Data Architect
• Experience migrating and building enterprise data platforms in AWS
• Background in data development or engineering
• Strong experience with SQL
• Experience with Power BI
• Knowledge of the full trade life-cycle
• Self-starter and keen to drive initiatives to completion
• Experience of being the go-to person for data solutions within the business
• Experience of managing a small team
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent relationship building skills
