The purpose of this role is to perform a Senior Analyst role within Police Scotland's Intelligence Support function, assisting the Analyst Co-ordinator in the supervision, instruction and development of analyst staff to ensure successful delivery of criminal intelligence analysis provision at divisional or departmental level in support of Force and Divisional Policing Priorities.
The Senior Analyst will instruct, guide and monitor the work of analyst researchers and criminal intelligence analyst staff in the team as directed by the Analyst Co-ordinator.
The post-holder will undertake analysis of a wide range of data, information and intelligence, developing and producing a range of assessments to inform and guide senior manager decision making across strategic, local policing and specialist operational business areas.
This role will be Monday-Thursday and Friday.
Applicants must be a British citizen, a member of the EU or other states in the EEA, a Commonwealth citizen or a foreign national free of restrictions.
You should have been resident in the UK for a minimum of five years immediately prior to application for this role.
