Senior Associate / Salaried Partner - Corporate Law
A well-established and highly regarded law firm is currently seeking a Senior Associate or Salaried Partner to join its growing Corporate team in their Bournemouth office.
The Firm
The firm is known for delivering high-quality legal services across a broad range of sectors, with a focus on complex corporate matters such as mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, refinancing, debt and equity fundraisings, management buyouts, business sales, and commercial agreements.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Corporate team, handling a varied and high-calibre caseload. This will include advising on M&A, refinancing, international distribution agreements, and technology development agreements.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in corporate law, be capable of leading negotiations, and managing relationships with clients. They will also mentor junior team members and contribute to the firm's business development efforts in the Central South region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage corporate transactions, including drafting and negotiating share and asset purchase agreements.
- Advise clients on a wide range of corporate matters such as M&A, restructuring, refinancing, and international distribution agreements.
- Mentor and manage junior team members.
- Actively participate in business development to help grow and expand the corporate practice in the region.
Requirements:
- 8+ years' experience as a Corporate Solicitor, with a strong background in managing corporate transactions.
- Proven ability to lead on high-value deals and demonstrate deep technical expertise in corporate law.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in negotiating complex corporate agreements.
- A proactive approach to business development, with a strong desire to contribute to the firm's growth.
- Experience within a reputable law firm, whether independent, regional, or city-based, is highly desirable.
