Job description

Our client is seeking a Senior Administrator to provide a comprehensive company and trust administration service. This is a full-time, permanent role, requiring a strong understanding of corporate governance and Jersey company law. The successful candidate will work independently and may oversee a team, managing changing priorities and ensuring that all tasks align with established procedures and company policy.

Job Duties:

  1. Administer a portfolio of complex corporate structures, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and administration.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and third-party advisors.
  3. Review periodic reports and transaction documents before approval by directors or trustees.
  4. Apply commercial awareness in managing client structures.
  5. Draft and prepare documents such as minutes, resolutions, and small agreements as needed.
  6. Review annual accounts for client portfolios, collaborating with bookkeepers and accountants to ensure accurate records.
  7. Attend client meetings and liaise with investment advisors, asset managers, and other professional advisors.
  8. Identify opportunities to offer additional services to clients within the company network.
  9. Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
  10. Assist in supervising, mentoring, and developing junior staff as required.
  11. Provide coverage for team managers or other administrators during absences due to holiday or sickness, in conjunction with the client director.
  12. Understand and apply relevant legislation and guidance affecting fiduciary businesses, ensuring compliance with client structures and adherence to Customer Due Diligence (CDD) requirements.
  13. Record all time on the company's time recording system, manage Work in Progress (WIP), and monitor debtors and cash collection for a client portfolio.
  14. Achieve financial targets as determined by management.
  15. Perform other duties as reasonably required by management.

Job Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in trust and company administration, financial services, or a legal services environment.
  2. Studying towards or qualified in CGI (ICSA) or an equivalent professional qualification.
  3. Proactive, forward-thinking, and able to use initiative in task management.
  4. Committed and driven to achieve excellence for both personal and client success.
  5. Excellent communication skills.
  6. Ability to supervise and develop junior staff.
