Collaboration

Importantly, while the aim is to build a strong global offering, ‘CLUK’ is connected to the wider US Concentric Life agency and can share resources where necessary, such as brand designers, project managers, creative teams, medical writers, medical directors, video editors and animators via the agency’s inhouse studio team known as ‘The Furnace’.

In addition, as part of Accenture Song, we can also utilise the Song studio team in London and in the Accenture Song network across EMEA, Africa and Costa Rica, giving us a broad scope of talent to draw upon.

Who We Are Looking For:

ConcentricLife is seeking a Senior Copywriter, with a strong science background such as a Life sciences or pharmacology background, to join our London-based global team. You will have the exciting opportunity to represent our agency and generate creative ideas that fulfill our clients' needs through impactful ideas and written content across various media.

Reports to Associate Creative Director Copy

What You Will Do:

  • Work closely with Art Directors and other Copywriters to develop and implement impactful and engaging creative ideas and content based on marketing goals
  • Be conversant with clinical data and have the ability to analyse clinical papers to generate promotional messages for a wide-range of healthcare audiences
  • Develop deep brand level understanding of target audiences and goals for each brand, project and promotional initiative
  • Develop text from draft stage through completion – reviewing and editing all copy
  • Take creative/strategic role in concepting for your assigned brands
  • Present creative ideas at internal meetings. Participate in client meetings when necessary.
  • Work with the Account team to ensure quality and efficiency on all creative projects and troubleshoot when necessary
  • Partner and collaborate across other departments including Art, Editorial, Account, and Integrated Production to ensure projects meet client and regulatory specifications

What You Bring:

  • 4+ years of experience at an ad agency supporting copy development in healthcare/pharmaceutical advertising
  • A portfolio of examples of your work, including conceptual thinking and written examples
  • Curiosity for science with the ability to pick up therapeutic areas and concepts quickly as needed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to manage deadlines
  • Ability to tell a simple story visually and verbally
  • A drive to elevate thinking and the work
  • A curious mentality
  • The desire to be great
