Job description

Position: FM Contract Manager

Location: City of London

Salary: Up to GBP75,000 per annum (DOE)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

A well-established facilities maintenance provider is seeking an experienced and client-focused FM Contract Manager to lead operations at a state-of-the-art smart building in the City of London. This flagship site requires a forward-thinking manager with a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Full responsibility for day-to-day contract delivery across the site
  2. Ensure all PPM and reactive works are completed in line with SLAs and KPIs
  3. Management and supervision of on-site engineering and support teams
  4. Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements
  5. Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and service reviews
  6. Financial management of the contract including P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  7. Identify and implement service improvements, efficiencies, and innovations
  8. Manage subcontractors and ensure quality control of third-party services
  9. Conduct regular audits, reports, and performance reviews
  10. Leverage building management systems (BMS) to optimise building performance and proactively resolve issues

What You'll Need:
  1. Proven experience as an FM Contract Manager in a high-end or corporate building environment
  2. Solid understanding of P&L management and budget control
  3. Strong technical background, ideally from an engineering discipline (mechanical or electrical)
  4. Excellent leadership and client management skills
  5. Strong BMS knowledge or experience is highly desirable
  6. In-depth understanding of compliance, H&S, and building services operations
