Job description

Can you plan and deliver a high-performing content strategy for target audiences in the tech sector?

As our Senior Content Strategist at Cambridge Intelligence, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our content strategy to deliver high-impact, high-conversion and audience-relevant content. Your insights will help deliver exceptional content that resonates with our target audiences in the intelligence, cybersecurity, and anti-fraud sectors.

What's involved?

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across teams, brings strong editorial and strategic thinking and can balance data-driven insight with clear, human storytelling. Your primary focus will be on planning, creating and maintaining a high-quality content strategy to drive our inbound lead generation, lead nurturing and customer engagement campaigns.

Requirements

  1. Proven hands-on experience in content marketing, including planning, producing, and optimising content for technical or B2B audiences.
  2. Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to balance clarity, accuracy, and brand voice.
  3. Experience in working with SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and engagement.
  4. Strong analytical skills to assess content performance and make data-informed decisions.
  5. A structured approach to content processes, ensuring tidy and efficient content management.

You might also have experience of:

  1. Experience in a SaaS, B2B tech or data-focused company.
  2. Background in technical writing or journalism.
  3. HubSpot certification(s) or advanced user knowledge.
  4. Formal education in English, Communications, Marketing, product marketing, Journalism or a related field.
  5. Experience using LinkedIn and YouTube as strategic channels for audience engagement and lead generation.

Who You'll Work With

You will collaborate closely with our content and search engine optimisation (SEO) specialists as well as product and sales teams to ensure our content aligns with business objectives and effectively reaches our audience.

Opportunities to grow

At Cambridge Intelligence, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of several high-stakes projects, allowing you to grow your career and develop your leadership skills. We are committed to your professional development and provide access to training resources and industry conferences to further enhance your expertise.

Be yourself

We want to build a fair, respectful and welcoming company, where everyone feels at home. That means taking a long-term approach to equality, diversity and inclusion - not treating it as a tickbox exercise.

With the help of our EDI group, we're working to make every aspect of the business - including recruitment - fair, respectful and inclusive.

No agency approaches please, we are only hiring directly. You must also have the right to work in the UK indefinitely.

Benefits

  1. Hybrid working (You will need to be in the Cambridge city centre office 3 days a week during your 3 month probation then 2 days after that as needed).
  2. Pension.
  3. Medical and Dental Insurance (BUPA).
  4. 25 days annual leave.
  5. 12% discretionary bonus.
  6. 5 days of professional development paid for by the company.

  8. Flexible holiday benefits.
  9. Cycle scheme (fully funded by the company).
