Senior Consultant - Transport

Senior Consultant (Rail)

United Kingdom

Reporting to the Global Transport Practice Director, the prospective candidate will join NCC Group as a Senior Consultant within the Transport team, leading our rail initiatives globally.

Role Purpose

  • Continual development of our Technical and GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) capabilities in support of our rail industry clients
  • Delivery of consulting services to the rail industry and potentially to other transport modes, to support their cyber security requirements
  • International travel will be required for client delivery
  • Supporting NCC sales and marketing staff with technical and rail industry knowledge and expertise
  • Internal knowledge sharing with other NCC consultants
  • Working closely with other teams within NCC globally, including Hardware, Operational Technology and SDLC practices
  • Personal targets and measures of performance are discussed and agreed at staff review meetings, which are held at a minimum of every six months. At these meetings OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) are set and then tracked between meetings.

What we're looking for in you

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience of working within the rail industry
  • Strong Systems Security Engineering skills and knowledge of the specific challenges that the rail industry faces.
  • Ideally, the candidate will be a Chartered Engineer
  • Expertise / certifications in IEC 62443, TS50701 and ISO 27001 standards
