Senior Construction Project Manager Onshore Wind (UK & Ireland)

An exciting opportunity to be part of RWE Renewables’ UK & Ireland Construction Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented, and experienced project manager to drive projects forward from Final Investment Decision (FID) to Commercial Operation Delivery (COD) safely, on time, to quality and budget, including successful handover to Operations. You will have the opportunity to work alongside other talented teams within RWE Renewables.

Responsibilities:

1. Liaise with local authorities, utilities, suppliers, contractors, and any other parties relevant to the delivery of the assigned project.
2. Tendering for long lead items and payment/delivery terms negotiation.
3. Liaise with the project team to ensure the proper and timely discharge of any planning conditions relevant to the works.
4. Participate in the tendering and negotiation of Turbine Supply Agreement (TSA) and Balance of Plant (BoP) scopes and contracts.
5. Supervision and management of the TSA & BoP through the delivery phase.
6. Budgetary and scheduling responsibility for each assigned project.
7. Periodical reporting to the management team on the delivery progress and risks.
8. Provide support & guidance to more junior members of the team.
9. Industry recognised Project Management qualifications - PRINCE 2/ APMP Professional.
10. Health and safety - SMSTS / NEBOSH / IOSH accreditation.
11. Demonstrable experience in negotiating and working under commercial contract frameworks such as NEC3/4, FIDIC, etc.
12. Experience in delivering utility scale onshore wind projects necessary.
13. Advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite, Autodesk Viewer and Visio (or other similar PM software).
14. A degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical engineering principles will be advantageous.
