We are currently looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to join our busy team in the vibrant city of Birmingham! This is an incredible opportunity to make a significant impact as you lead our compliance efforts in a pivotal role.

Senior Compliance Officer Duties:
As a Senior Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in the management and supervision of our Risk & Compliance function. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Monitoring transactions to identify behavioural patterns.
2. Advising on prevention measures.
3. Assisting the Head of the Compliance Team (HOFCC) with regulatory reporting and compliance-related projects.
4. Training and mentoring colleagues.
5. Ensuring high-quality reporting and maintaining keen regulatory awareness to enhance our compliance posture.

Senior Compliance Officer Requirements:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a Compliance role within a UK financial institution; preference given to those with transaction monitoring experience in payment institutions.
2. Sound knowledge and understanding of MLR 2017, PSR 2017, FATF guidance, HMRC's guidance for MSBs, JMLSG guidance, POCA 2002, FSMA 2000, EMR 2011, FCA handbook, FCA's approach document for PI and EMI.
3. Attention to detail and analytical skills to understand and document processes.
4. Excellent communication skills to engage with a wide audience.
5. Strong team player with an ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen business relationships.
