We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Compliance Officer or Senior Compliance Officer to join our busy education supply agency in Leeds. You will play a pivotal role to assist with the growth of the office and in ensuring that all teaching and support staff meet the necessary safer recruitment compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the compliance process for teaching and support staff.
- Ensuring all documentation and checks are up to date and meet industry standards.
- Confidently chasing compliance and liaising with candidates to ensure all requirements are met.
- Engaging with clients and candidates over the phone to maintain strong professional relationships.
- Chasing references and thinking outside the box on how to get these back.
- Supporting consultants and working closely with them to get as many candidates cleared as possible to work.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in recruitment or compliance is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of the compliance needed for educational staff.
- Confident communicator, particularly on the phone.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive.
- Computer and system literate.
- Builds relationships easily.
