We are currently recruiting for a Senior Compliance Manager to join our established and experienced Risk & Compliance team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.
Your role As a Senior Compliance Manager, your role will be critical in safeguarding the business and supporting the Compliance function's Value, Insight, and Partnership (VIP) agenda. Based within the UK Compliance and Risk function and reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), you will provide support across a broad range of compliance matters, including regulatory engagement, horizon scanning, SMCR, and business-wide compliance issues. A key focus of your role will be engaging with the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and overseeing prudential regulatory matters.
You will possess a broad and adaptable skill set, enabling you to work autonomously across a wide range of compliance topics. Collaborating closely with stakeholders across the first, second, and third lines of defence, you will engage with all levels of seniority, including members of the RSA Operating Committee and colleagues within the Intact group. Good stakeholder management, sound judgment, and the ability to influence effectively will be key to your success in this role.
Your responsibilities Your responsibilities will include managing various compliance-related matters across the business, with a particular focus on engagement with prudential regulation. This will involve advising senior management, coordinating with the PRA, FCA, and other regulatory bodies, ensuring timely completion of deliverables, and maintaining focus on regulatory change. Additionally, you will contribute to horizon scanning activities, tracking policy developments, and collaborating across the business to ensure the regulatory landscape is continually monitored and managed.
About you You will have experience with FCA conduct requirements and a solid understanding of prudential regulation. This role will require excellent stakeholder management skills and a results-driven approach, allowing you to confidently deliver difficult messages while maintaining positive relationships. You will possess excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills, as well as good interpersonal abilities, effective team leadership, and relationship-building skills.
Your organisational skills will also be crucial in managing multiple tasks and responsibilities. A solid understanding of the insurance industry is essential, along with the ability to problem-solve and collaborate effectively. In this role, you will engage with stakeholders across the UK&I business and the wider Intact Group, including senior-level executives, and will have direct contact with regulators.
