As a senior commercial lawyer with exceptional in-house experience, you could find a long-term career step within the indispensable team at this international parent company of several prominent brands within its industry. This role has the option of being a largely remote working role.

Your New Role
A new Senior Legal Counsel (Commercial) role, created as part of a team expansion, mirroring the broader business. Reporting to Group GC, you will negotiate and review a host of complex cross-border commercial contracts matters, including technology, platform, licensing, procurement, marketing and partnership agreements, as well as SLAs and client T&Cs. Additionally, you would support in managing the juniors in the team, support with acquisitive transactions and work closely with the likes of operations, sales, marketing and procurement teams. A broad range of ad hoc IP, employment, real estate and occasionally disputes matters would also arise.
You would also support in the development of the junior lawyers and paralegals in the team. You can work largely remotely, save for when occasionally the senior leaders may need you in.
Who You Are
You'll be an E&W qualified commercial lawyer with private practice training at a City or national firm, a few years spent honing your skills in a practice setting and at least 7+ PQE (as a guide). Subsequent in-house experience would be gratefully welcome. You will have sustained experience with a broad range of commercial contracts and the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders at all levels. You will be motivated to develop juniors in your team, and while largely working remotely, you will be able to come to the London office when needed. Candidates with high EQ and the technical and commercial skills to get the job done are highly sought after.
