Job description

We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Senior Clinical Fellow in Paediatrics on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Paediatrics department.

Our client is currently undergoing a new strategy & values which will boost this trust in the aftermath of COVID-19. The trust's strategic points are quality, people, pathways, ease of use & sustainability which are all underpinned by the trust's values. In addition, over the past few years, the trust has undergone one of the most complex service reconfigurations in the NHS – both to deadline and budget. Under the banner of the Our Changing Hospitals programme, which saw an investment of £150 million to improve this trust.

The successful appointee will be asked to fulfil various duties, such as:

1. Delivering care to Neonates in the Neonatal service which includes delivery suite and post-natal wards.
2. Assessment and management of children in outpatient department.
3. Delivering care to children on the children's wards and children's assessment unit including emergency department.
4. Participation on the middle grade 1:9 full shift rota.
5. Participation in audits, presentations, and teaching.
