Job responsibilitiesPaediatric Rheumatology at Evelina London provides a trainee with a unique opportunity to develop their skills relevant to paediatric rheumatology and beyond. This service provides exposure to inflammatory conditions such as JIA, connective tissue diseases, vasculitis, auto-inflammatory diseases as well as non-inflammatory conditions such as biomechanical pain, hypermobility, sports injuries, chronic pain (juvenile fibromyalgia/ amplified musculoskeletal pain syndrome) and medically unexplained symptoms.
There are clinics not just within Evelina but also network clinics at peripheral hospitals. This provides a great opportunity to understand how Evelina Paediatric Rheumatology supports clinicians and allied health professionals in peripheral hospitals in providing care closer to home.
