This is an excellent opportunity within Emergency Medicine at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. We are seeking an enthusiastic clinical fellow to join the department to provide patient care within the trust. You will work as part of the emergency department team.
We will offer you a Study Leave budget of £1,000 per year which will help towards your Continuing Professional Development.
Main duties of the job- Initial resuscitation and management of all emergency patients presenting to the department.
- Initiation of the necessary investigation of patients and the referral to the relevant on-call specialist team when indicated.

Person SpecificationPrevious ExperienceEssential- Recognition of and ability to undertake the initial management of, an acutely ill patient
- Demonstrable interest in and comprehension of Emergency medicine
- Experience of working in Emergency Medicine at Senior Registrar level or equivalent
DesirableKnowledgeEssentialFitness to PracticeEssential- Evidence of engagement with appraisal and revalidation
Qualifications / TrainingEssential- Hold a current licence to practice from the General Medical Council
- Full MRCEM Exam
- Advanced Life Support Certificate or equivalent
