We are looking for a well-organised individual to ensure an effective clerical support service is provided to our stakeholders and customers.

Duties for the post include providing an effective business support service, including:

  1. Processing manual and computerised client and service information
  2. Producing and analysing reports
  3. Document production including typing letters and reports
  4. Processing purchase orders
  5. Providing basic IT assistance
  6. Instructing, allocating, and checking work of employees

The post holder will be part of the senior Customer and Business Services team based across the cluster and will be the first point of contact for clerical assistants. It is essential that you have experience of working in a clerical role and carrying out a wide range of support duties, as well as working with a range of software packages including Microsoft Excel and databases. You must also have the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative, work to deadlines and quality standards, and be self-motivated and resilient when handling some challenging and vulnerable client groups.

It is desirable that you have knowledge of procurement systems (PECOS) as well as AIS and Info@Work. Previous experience of supervising staff is also desirable, along with an SVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.
