We have an opportunity for an experienced Claims Handler to join our existing Insurance Team within the Council’s Financial Services Division.
Reporting to the Insurance Manager, you will manage a small claims team as well as your own case load of claims dealing principally in personal injury and third party property claims associated with Public and Employers liability. Other responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) assisting with procurement activities, insurance renewals, internal and external stakeholder communications, and day-to-day administration of the Insurance Programme and systems.
The Senior Claims Handler will also deputise for the Insurance Manager as required.
