Job Description:

We are actively seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to work for an excellent engineering consultancy, where the role will be based at their client’s offices at the Port of Immingham.

Our client requires somebody with a strong civil and/or structural design background to work in a Project Manager role. This is a great opportunity to work with a well-established company, where you will be taking a leading role.

Role and Responsibilities

• You will take the lead on a variety of projects, driving innovation in sustainability and carbon reduction within the maritime sector.
• Engage directly with clients and stakeholders, including ABP, Peel Ports, and waterfront development teams.
• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary environment to deliver impactful projects while expanding your expertise across different disciplines.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required)
• Masters in Civil or Structural Engineering (ideally)
• Chartered (ideally)
• Strong knowledge of Eurocode and British Standards (required)
• Permanent or long-term contract
• 2 days on site per week (on average)
