The Opportunity
Amey Engineering teams improve the environment and create sustainable flooding solutions across the UK, by working in partnership with a range of clients, providing consultancy design services for Local Authorities, Strategic and Local transport providers and organisations delivering Infrastructure. We make our towns and cities better places to live by improving connectivity, flood resilience, sustainability and quality of life.
Amey have been confirmed as the lead engineering consultant working with the NI Department for Infrastructure (DFI) on their Water and Departmental Delivery contract for the next five years, as well as NI Transport Asset Management and Translink contracts. We are also working on a range of flood management projects for Regional Authorities in Wales, South-West and Midlands areas, Highways and Rail, and looking to expand further in these areas.
The role
With the increase in workload, we have fantastic opportunities for Senior Civil Engineers to join the team. The successful candidates will undertake and oversee the production of Flood Management design, leading a dedicated flood management design engineering team. This role can be based from either our Belfast, Cardiff or Birmingham locations where you will work collaboratively within the Flooding and Water Management team, providing effective support and assistance to the senior engineers and team leaders on a variety of flood schemes.
