Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or similar, preferably accredited for ICE or IStructE.
  • Some experience in highways and civil engineering tasks is beneficial.

Job description

An award-winning civil engineering practice is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with highways experience to join the team in London. They specialize in innovative infrastructure projects, from road design to large-scale developments providing support towards chartership at every step.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Civil Engineering or similar (accredited for ICE or IStructE preferred)
  2. Some highways experience will be beneficial to the role.
  3. Ability to take on a variety of civil engineering tasks including drainage design, flood risk assessments, and public realm design
  4. Proficient in AutoCAD, Civils 3D, PDS, and Windes software
  5. Ideally based in London area.

Duties:

  1. Flood risk assessments, SuDS & drainage, earthworks, and S278 works
  2. Preparing and managing technical calculations, drawings, and reports
  3. Collaborating with structural engineers and other teams
  4. Attending site visits and client meetings as required
