Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer

Birmingham (flexible / hybrid working)

c£50k – 60k + package

We are pleased to be working with a well-established civil structural consultancy to recruit a senior civil engineer offering the opportunity to contribute in the design of a range of medium and large-scale infrastructure projects and engage with a diverse portfolio of clients.

As a Senior Civil Design Engineer, you will join an established and productive team with a very healthy pipeline of civil infrastructure projects and the opportunity to work on varied and interesting schemes and advance and progress your career. The role offers hybrid working 2 or 3 days a week from home.

About you and the role:

1. As a civil design engineer, you will have 5 years or more experience in civils design including highways and drainage
2. Experience of managing projects from inception to completion, preparation of designs, managing projects, supporting the design team.
3. Good working knowledge of software such as Civil 3D, Microdrainage, Causeway Flow
4. An understanding of drainage design, SUDS, Manual for Streets, Sewers for Adoption
5. Ideally chartered or near chartered (but not essential, experience is more important)
