Senior Civil Design Engineer - Hybrid Role - Guildford


I'm seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of development projects. This is a hybrid role based in Guildford, offering flexibility to work remotely alongside office collaboration. You'll apply your expertise to ensure high-quality outcomes on various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design and delivery of development-focused engineering projects.
  2. Conduct Flood Risk Assessments and develop Drainage Strategies.
  3. Use AutoCAD and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage to design and analyse solutions.
  4. Manage projects to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to develop innovative proposals.
  6. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to clients and authorities.


The ideal candidate:

  1. A degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  2. Strong engineering and project management experience.
  3. Expertise in Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
  4. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Clear communicator, both written and verbal.
