Senior Childcare Legal Assistant

Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting alongside a Local Authority, based in Devon, which needs a Senior Childcare Legal Assistant to join their team. This role can be done on a fully remote basis and offers a meaningful opportunity to work with some of the most vulnerable individuals in the community.

ROLE: Senior Childcare Legal Assistant
RATE: £15-17ph umbrella
BASED: Devon - REMOTE
CONTRACT LENGTH: 6 Months ongoing

The Responsibilities of the Senior Childcare Legal Assistant role:

1. You will work alongside solicitors undertaking Childcare proceedings.
2. Requesting and filing evidence, answering calls, booking Counsel.
3. Drafting and preparing Bundles.

Key Requirements

1. Experience within Childcare/Family Law. Ideally someone who has worked in the UK public sector for a childcare legal team.
2. Great communication skills, written and oral.
3. A standard DBS is required for this role.
