Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program compliance.
• Monitor stock, portions and quality of food prepared.
• Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
• Take initiative and help to ensure great service from both kitchen and service sides.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.

Experience:

• Diploma or degree from an accredited university in culinary arts or NVQ or related major.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing).
• Innovative and creative in food production.
• Pro-active and reliable.
• Positive attitude.
• Good preparation and coordination skills.
• Able to work alone and within a team.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to run the pass.
• Sharing knowledge and ideas in menu development.
• Good level of English essential in reading and writing.
