An opportunity has arisen for an individual to apply for this Band 7 post within the multidisciplinary Surgical Daycase and Inpatient wards based at Stracathro hospital.
This successful applicant will work closely with the current leadership team to support acute elective surgical services and planned care across a number of surgical specialities.
Applicants will be required to demonstrate effective leadership and workforce managerial skills with a flexible approach to working and have extensive knowledge of acute NHS services and a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of elective surgery.
It is essential that the applicants have experience of clinical activity monitoring and contributing to service performance management as well as experience of working within and contributing to quality assurance systems, using quality assurance data.
Knowledge of health, safety and risk management in the clinical workplace is essential.
Applicants will possess a degree or equivalent qualification, demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development, and must have previous Band 6 experience in an acute hospital setting or equivalent and staff supervisory experience.
Applicants must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register.
