Senior Catastrophe Research Analyst | London, UK

Do you have 2-6 years of experience in a Catastrophe R&D team and want to join a new function in a period of growth and work across multiple perils?

Eames Consulting has partnered with a respected syndicate as it looks to hire a Senior Catastrophe Research Analyst to work across all nature perils. This role sits in a small specialist R&D and responsibilities will involve conducting research on natural perils, performing model validation, evaluation, and development based on the latest academic findings.

To be successful in this role experience working with a syndicate, broker or insurer is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with experience developing and evaluating catastrophe models and using advanced programming languages such as Python and R. The ideal candidate will also have strong presentation skills and a PhD or Masters (or equivalent) in physical sciences, preferably meteorology.
