Permanent Hours detailed below:
These contracted minimum hours are permanent positions within Boomerang Healthcare:

• Part-time or full-time hours plus on-call support
• Additional hours and days can be made available if required

Duties can include:

• Visit and support service users in their own homes with complex and non-complex needs
• Undertake and complete assigned tasks
• Provide personal care and support where required
• Provide domestic support where required – cooking, cleaning, washing, etc.
• Take service users out to shops or on visits
• Social Visits / Sits
• Training
• Completion of Care Plans
• Mentoring new care staff
• Spot Checks / Quality Checks
• Out of hours on-call support and cover
• Medication Audits

Locations: We have opportunities within Gateshead.

Essential Requirements:

• 3 years care experience
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Caring, outgoing, friendly personality
• Punctual and reliable
• Experience in moving, handling, and lifting
• Ability to use IT equipment
• Good organisational skills
• Effective skills in conflict management and resolution
• NVQ Level 2
• Must be able to work in the UK

Desirable Requirements (specialist training can be provided):

• Skilled in PEG feeds
• Experience of supporting LD clients
• Medications management
• NVQ Level 3/4

Pay: £24,500.00-£27,100.00 per year
