Location: Maldon, Essex, UK
Job Type: Full Time/Part Time
Salary: Competitive (DOE)
Our Care Worker’s role is focused on the service user and their different needs & requirements. You can expect duties to include (not exhaustive):
- Administering Medication
- Making meals
- Escorting clients to an activity or a medical appointment
- Chatting and engaging with relatives and providing care updates
- Companionship communicating and taking an interest in your client’s needs
- Helping with personal care such as washing, dressing, hair, nail, mouth & skin care
- Providing fluid and nutritional support
- Errands such as shopping
- Helping with household tasks, including gardening, cleaning, household maintenance, washing clothes, doing the weekly shop or making the bed
- Assisting with paperwork such as paying bills
- Reporting and documentation i.e. Care Plan review
- Minimum 6 months in Care Work Preferred, but not essential (Further training will be provided)
- Flexibility with working patterns
- Shift Patterns & Weekend Working required
- Day and Night Shift available
- Reliability - Our service users are dependent on our staff and support.
