Senior Care Assistant Night required for our new luxury care home 'The Moat House' located in Great Easton near Great Dunmow, Essex, Part of the Country Court Family.

Hours: Night 45 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times 19:45 - 08:00)

ABOUT THE SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT ROLE

Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents' lives. Your responsibilities will include:

• Aiding residents' emotional well-being and social needs
• Administration and monitoring of medications to residents
• Supporting residents at mealtime
• Mentoring & assisting new employees
• Implementing, monitoring, and reviewing care plans to meet residents' specific needs
• Planning, allocating & supervising the work of the team of care assistants

ABOUT YOU

• Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team
• Be no stranger to working night shifts
• Have a friendly & caring attitude
• Able to engage well with the residents and their families
• Have an understanding of people with Dementia
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willing to work towards this
• Great communication skills, both written & verbal
