This role as a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare in Peterborough offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on residents' lives every day. The role involves delivering high standards of personal care, monitoring resident wellbeing, being involved in care planning, supporting staff development, and acting as a key point of contact. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ 3 or equivalent, 2 years' experience in a similar care environment, and strong communication skills.
As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Other responsibilities will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, undertaking staff supervisions, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives and health professionals.
