Senior Care Assistant - required for our new luxury care home 'The Moat House' located in Great Easton near Great Dunmow, Essex, Part of the Country Court Family.

Hours: 45 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times 07:45 - 20:00)

Moat House Care Home is a sixty-bed home that has been completely refurbished and will include six well-appointed suites, promoting a lifestyle for residents that will offer a luxurious environment with exceptional personalised care. Together with round-the-clock hospitality and a daily fine-dining menu, our home will be a wonderful addition to the local community.

ABOUT THE SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT ROLE

Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents' lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Aiding residents' emotional well-being and social needs.
  • Administration and monitoring of medications to residents.
  • Supporting residents at mealtime.
  • Mentoring & assisting new employees.
  • Implementing, monitoring and reviewing care plans to meet residents' specific needs.
  • Planning, allocating & supervising the work of the team of care assistants.

ABOUT YOU

We want someone proactive, passionate, and ambitious to support us in creating the best person-centred environment for our residents. You'll be genuinely valued and empowered as an integral part of our team.

  • Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team.
  • Have a friendly & caring attitude.
  • Experience in administering medication.
  • Able to engage well with the residents and their families.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willing to work towards this.
  • Great communication skills, both written & verbal.
