Our client, a well-respected nursing home based in Doncaster, is looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and caring environment while making a real difference to the lives of elderly residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the care team to provide high-quality care to residents.
• Assist residents with personal care, mobility, and daily activities.
• Administer medication as per care plans and follow clinical procedures.
• Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of all residents during the night shift.
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care is delivered.
• Provide supervision and guidance to junior staff members.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a care assistant role, with at least 1 year in a senior position.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and patient with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
• Flexibility to work night shifts.
