£40,000 - £50,000 + Overtime OTE (£48k - £58k) + Progression + Benefits

Are you a CAD Technician with exposure to Carpentry or Joinery looking to work for a bespoke specialist, with a competitive salary, plenty of optional overtime, and the opportunity to work on high-end projects, for one of the largest in-house Joinery manufacturers in the UK?

As a go-to CAD Technician, you will join a close-knit drawing team, assisting with the drafting of high-end bespoke projects for luxury residential and leisure environments. There is a variety of technically exciting work to be a part of, working on everything from a bespoke wardrobe to an entire fit-out of a hotel. There is training available and the chance to progress, as well as an opportunity to significantly increase your earnings through optional overtime.

The Role:

• Mechanical CAD/ Design of new applications and products
• Development of innovative technology across Aerospace, Automotive, and Energy
• Using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks)
• Read and understand Architectural Specifications ensuring EES drawings
• Create model and assembly drawings
• Optional overtime earning anything from £4k - £12k extra per year

The person:

• Previous exposure to the Timber / Joinery sector
• Experience with 2D & 3D CAD software
• Ability to perform hand calculations
• Ability to manage a team
