Senior CAD Technician (Tekla) - Permanent

Hybrid - 2 days Manchester

TEKsystems is currently supporting our market-leading client in the Engineering sector in bringing in a Senior CAD Technician with extensive experience in Tekla. Our client is a global, award-winning Engineering and Construction modelling consultancy, providing design-led and data-driven solutions for their international clients across a multitude of sectors and projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

• 3D modelling and detailing of structural steelwork in Tekla Structures.
• Producing general arrangement and fabrication drawings, as well as accompanying reports and files.
• Ability to import/export reference models.
• Ability to work under pressure to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Excellent communication skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Outlook (key business tools).
• Liaising with their in-house team of civil and structural engineers as required.
• Able to liaise with clients, design partners, and site personnel as and when required.

Experience Needed

• Must have extensive experience in Tekla Structures.
• Experience with AutoCAD preferred but not essential.
• Experience with Trimble Connect preferred but not essential.
