Senior Buyer/Procurement Manager

Job Description

My client is a leading European brand that has traded for well over 60 years, providing building envelope sub-contract packages to Tier 1 & 2 contractors.

With a well-established business in the UK comprising of 30 team members and a group total of over 400 members of staff, they're looking for their new procurement team member to aid not just in their business, but provide the right candidate with an excellent career path.

Brief duties of the role include:

1. Sourcing and procuring materials and services
2. Negotiating contracts, performing cost analysis, managing supplier relationships, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining inventory control
3. Working closely with other departments to forecast needs and assess market trends
4. Ensuring continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicating any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations
5. Researching and evaluating areas of opportunity and reducing costs where possible

For the right candidate, up to £80k plus package is what is on offer.
