Due to continued business growth, they are now looking to recruit an additional Senior Buyer to join the team. The role is office based, but the organisation offers a four-day working week (Monday to Thursday). It is a full-time role with hours compressed into four days.
Your new role
The Senior Buyer will be responsible for buying goods and materials at the best cost whilst ensuring quality standards are maintained and reliability of delivery. The Senior Buyer will raise purchase orders via the MRP system, source for new products, support NPI, and resolve supply chain problems. Additionally, the role will work closely with the engineering teams to maximise stock optimisation levels, assist projects and support continuous improvement. This offers the opportunity for career progression for the right candidate.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Senior Buyer with a background from a manufacturing, engineering or automotive environment. You will have strong experience of managing MRP systems, managing purchase orders, sourcing, and liaising with suppliers at all stages of the procurement cycle.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to £40,000 plus benefits. The role is a four-day working week (Monday to Thursday 7am to 5pm). It is a full-time role with hours compressed into four days.
