For the successful Senior Buyer our client is offering:

• Up to £50,000 per annum DOE
• Monday-Friday, Days role

The role – Senior Buyer:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their procurement requirements and develop sourcing strategies to meet those needs
• Secure the best pricing and terms while ensuring compliance with company and industry regulations.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality.
• Work closely with supply chain and production teams to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to support business decisions

What our client is looking for in a Senior Buyer:

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business Admin, or related - ESSENTIAL
• Proven track record in procurement or buying within a regulated manufacturing environment
• Previous experience with ERP systems for managing procurement - ESSENTIAL
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong negotiation skills with experience in cross-functional collaboration
