Job Description

  1. Develop and implement the business strategy for the chemicals business in the EMEAI region to achieve above-market growth.
  2. Drive revenue growth, optimize spend, and ensure continued profitable growth of the business unit.
  3. Lead, manage, and develop the EMEAI team, fostering open communication, teamwork, and strategic alignment.
  4. Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure execution of business strategy and ongoing business activities.
  5. Establish strong relationships with industry experts and customers, supporting the commercial team in identifying new opportunities.
  6. Champion continuous improvement and organizational DE&I efforts.

The Successful Applicant

  1. Bachelor's Degree or higher in science, business, or related disciplines.
  2. Proven broad cross-functional experience in business management, strategic marketing, sales management, and/or product management in a B2B environment.
  3. Demonstrated people management experience including successful employee management and development experience.
  4. Demonstrated success in building positive relationships across multiple functions and geographic regions.
  5. Experienced in negotiating with senior-level commercial and technical decision-makers.
  6. Experience in leading organizational change with a track record of driving sustainable business growth.
  7. Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities.
  8. Ambitious to seize opportunity, challenge the status quo, and drive to win.
  9. Executive communications and interpersonal skills.
  10. Strong leadership skills and ability to influence, motivate, and make decisions.
  11. Intercultural awareness to operate in a cross-border environment - within region and outside of region.
