Role: Senior Business Analyst
Contract Length: 6 Months with possible extension
Location: Hybrid/Edinburgh or Glasgow - Onsite collaboration when required depending on project/team requirements
IR35: Outside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: £443 per day
Security Clearance: Disclosure Scotland

Spinwell is recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST

An experienced Senior Business Analyst is required to support the continued delivery of the Product and Business Analysis department outcomes.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST

1. Agile working: Identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes.
2. Business analysis: Take responsibility for investigative work into problems and opportunities in existing and new services.
3. Business improvement process: Analyse current services and processes to identify and implement opportunities for optimisation.
4. Business modelling: Model advanced and complex situations across multiple business functions or programmes.
5. Business process testing: Create test cases and traceability records from test cases back to requirements.
6. Digital perspective: Apply digital understanding to identify and implement solutions for assisted digital.
7. Enterprise and business architecture: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the target operating model.
8. Innovation: Lead and enable innovation in work processes.
9. Methods and tools: Ensure teams are using the right tools and methodologies.
10. Requirements definition and management: Facilitate the setting of business priorities for high complexity change initiatives.
11. Stakeholder relationship management: Influence stakeholders and manage relationships effectively.
12. Testing (business analysis): Define test condition requirements and execute test plans.
13. User focus: Collaborate with user researchers to prioritize and define approaches to understand user stories.
