Senior Business Analyst, API Lead – Investments / FinTech

Role

The Senior Business Analyst will come in as an experienced member of the team acting as a mentor to more junior staff with key responsibility for creating and leading on API driven initiatives across the business.

1. Consult extensively with the business to identify requirements
2. System enhancements including APIs and develop functionality
3. Performing analysis of business requirements, including gap analysis of changes required to processes, procedures and systems
4. Act as a liaison between the business and technical team including third parties
5. Provide guidance on API integration
6. Analyse and translate business needs into technical specifications for API development, working closely with development teams to design, test, and implement API solutions

Experience

1. 5+ years Business Analyst experience
2. Proven experience in Application Programming Interface / API
3. API development and integration
4. Financial Services background preferred
5. Business Analyst qualification - BCS International Diploma in BA
