Job Description

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be a fundamental part of our product and change teams, working with Product Owners/Managers, Architects, Engineering, QA & Delivery on cross-team and cross-organisation projects to assist in understanding and modelling business processes, technical architecture, and document requirements. You will support the delivery of solutions to our clients and colleagues and ultimately bring large contributions to helping Third Bridge deliver on its strategy.

What will you do?

  • Helping support and lead requirements gathering from key stakeholders in the business alongside the Product Owner(s) for the product(s) discovery and ideation phases
  • Requirement elaboration and refinement – working alongside engineers and to ready these requirements for development, implementation, and configuration.
  • Prioritising and breaking down requirements in relation to sprint plans and product roadmaps.
  • Ensuring the product backlog is prioritised and the development teams are able to successfully deliver new features
  • Assist UX and Product Owners in creating functional designs.
  • Map out dependencies and business impact.
  • Documenting key process flows required for customer and/or colleagues use of the product(s) - identifying and flagging any opportunities for improvement.
  • Mapping required metadata to key API requests and responses – understanding the flow of the metadata through the functions and feature set.
  • Writing release notes and supporting technical documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will help set the standards and frameworks to deliver best in class business analysis
  • Promote, demonstrate, and share knowledge on business analysis best practice with peers
  • Coach and mentor more junior business analysts
Qualifications

What will you bring?

  • Strong Experience working on complex software products and applications (PaaS, API and SaaS focussed)
  • Experience in API and data mapping
  • Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
  • Strong experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies (e.g Scrum, Kanban) consisting of multiple project and product lifecycles
  • Ability to elicit requirements using a variety of tools and techniques withincomplex programmes of work
  • Experience in building and documenting Business Analysis artefacts, such as; Process flows, requirement documents, user stories, Data models, use case diagrams, user/customer journeys
  • Ability to cope well under pressure and manage multiple projects or tasks
  • Ability to take lead on large complex projects
  • Ability to design analysis approaches and present these to the project team
  • Working with both on and offshore development teams
  • Ability to cope with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Participating in product sprints and ceremonies
  • Championing the product vision, ensure everyone is on board & it is broken down to achievable milestones
  • Breaking down requirements into user stories for the development teams to deliver.
  • Effective communication skills (written and oral)
  • Engaging and leveraging supplier/3rd party relationships
  • Utilising data and market insights to inform decisions and direction.
  • Highly desirable for any coaching and mentoring experience of Business Analysts
