This dynamic construction consultancy firm is on the lookout for an experienced and highly organised Senior Building Surveyor to join their brilliant team in London. You will be working on a variety of projects from large mixed-use schemes to commercial and residential refurbs, giving you the perfect opportunity to diversify your experience.

Key Responsibilities of the successful Senior Building Surveyor:

1. Manage and deliver Building Surveying services across a range of sectors.
2. Build and maintain excellent client relationships, ensuring a seamless service.
3. Use and apply building contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC) effectively.
4. Conduct defect analysis, building surveys, and produce detailed professional reports and specifications.
5. Provide technical due diligence, dilapidations advice, and contract administration.
6. Deliver commissions under established framework agreements.
7. Mentor junior colleagues, supporting their professional growth and career development.

Requirements of the Senior Building Surveyor:

1. BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying from a RICS-accredited institution.
2. Holds chartership or is working towards chartership.
3. Proven track record in pre- and post-contract work.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD and NBS; experience with Revit and understanding of BIM Level 2 are advantageous.
5. Strong IT skills (e.g., Word, Excel).
6. Project and professional building surveying experience.
7. Excellent communication skills to inspire clients and colleagues.
8. Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
