Job Title: Senior Building Surveyor (Project Delivery)
Location: Leeds, UK
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + Package

We are looking for a Senior Building Surveyor with a strong focus on project delivery to lead and manage property projects across a variety of sectors. This role is ideal for a driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. A consultancy background and excellent client-facing skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the end-to-end delivery of building surveying and refurbishment projects.
• Conducting site inspections, technical due diligence, and condition surveys to inform project strategies.
• Overseeing contract administration, tender processes, and contractor performance.
• Engaging directly with clients to understand project requirements and ensure expectations are met.
• Managing project budgets, schedules, and risk assessments to ensure successful outcomes.
• Ensuring compliance with building regulations, health & safety standards, and best practices.
• Leading multidisciplinary project teams and fostering collaboration across all stakeholders.
• Providing regular progress reports and proactive solutions to mitigate potential project risks.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in project-focused building surveying within a consultancy environment.
• Chartered status (MRICS) or working towards accreditation is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction, building pathology, and compliance.
• Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects successfully.
• Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
• Experience in contract administration, defect analysis, dilapidations, and refurbishment projects.
