Senior Building Surveyor

Our client, a friendly independent, private practice of Chartered Surveyors, is currently looking for a Senior Building Surveyor to join them based from their Brighton or Eastbourne office. They deal with both residential and commercial properties across the Sussex and south coast area.

The ideal candidate would be expected to have a broad variety of Building Surveying experience including professional services, project-based works, and valuation experience.

Senior Building Surveyor Position Remuneration

• Salary: 45k – 60k (DOE – Guide only)

Senior Building Surveyor Position Overview

• Building Surveys
• Home Buyer Reports with and without valuations
• Defect Diagnosis reports
• Party-wall analysis
• Specification of works
• Contract administration
• Dilapidations
• Valuation of properties for tax, matrimonial, and sales purposes
• Reinstatement Cost Assessments
• Schedules of Condition
• Assisting on lease extension valuations

Senior Building Surveyor Position Requirements

• MRICS qualified or working towards
• Full driving license
• Schedules of dilapidations experience is advantageous
• Relevant building surveying or construction/property qualification
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
• Desire to continue to develop professional training and specialisms
