Senior Broker - US Casualty Construction, London, Hybrid Working

Are you able to bring your knowledge and experience to provide co-ordinate and contribute to the development of US Casualty Construction business? What the day will look like

  • Providing advice to clients and colleagues on placement design, available capacity, likely pricing, and coverage
  • Working with clients on sophisticated, large capacity placements
  • Assist in defining marketing strategy
  • Lead quote broking / Follow market broking within Lloyd's and European market
  • Present terms to client / network
  • Firm Order broking (PPL / wet stamps / email)
  • Review draft / final MRC for binding
  • Send Cover confirmation to Client / Network
  • Host Client meetings with Underwriters
  • Assist in managing and developing a growing pipeline of new business
  • Assist in Relationship Management with our insurer partners
  • Provide benchmarking and placement advice to clients
  • Travel within the Aon Global network where required

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Significant experience in broking Construction Liability business, either in the US or International marketplace.
  • Technical Insurance knowledge across US and/or International Casualty markets
  • Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service
  • Experience of managing effective client relationships
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
  • Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
